What happens if..?
Over the course of your membership of the Scheme, it’s important to keep us updated if your circumstances change.
Change of address
Please let HR know in the usual way if you move house, and your pension record will be updated accordingly.
New email address
Please let HR know in the usual way about any changes to your contact details including your email address.
Your working hours
If you work part time or have worked part time in the past, the pensionable service used to calculate your retirement benefits will be pro-rated based on the hours you’ve worked. HR will let us know of any changes in your working hours so that we can adjust your benefits accordingly.
Family leave
If you take maternity, paternity, adoption, shared parental leave, or childcare breaks, you’ll continue to be a member of the Scheme. Your contributions will be based on the salary you receive during your leave, up to the level of your capped pensionable salary.
