Your benefits

As a deferred member of the National Gas Transmission Pension Scheme, you have built up retirement benefits for when you stop working. These include:

a monthly pension paid to you for the rest of your life
annual increases in line with the Scheme rules, measured by Retail Price Index inflation
the option to take a tax-free lump sum at retirement
a monthly pension paid to your partner or dependant when you die.
