A change to the Trustee Board

We wrote to you in January 2025 confirming that the Trustee of the Scheme was required to run a process for the appointment of Member Nominated Trustee Directors (MNTDs), and inviting applicants. We then wrote to you again in March, asking for you to vote for your three preferred candidates. 

The MNTD ballot was hosted and counted by Wordshop, an independent company, with voting closing on 30 April 2025. 

We are pleased to announce that the three successful candidates were John Flynn and Clare Megan, who are both existing MNTDs, and Adam Wiltshire, a new MNTD to the NGTPS Trustee Board. Adam has prior experience under Section B of the National Grid UK Pension Scheme and will transition to his new appointment with effect from 15 July 2025. 

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to those who stood for election and to everyone who participated by casting their vote. 

We are also saying farewell and thank you to Deborah Marshall, who will be leaving the Board. We are grateful for Deborah's contribution to the Board since the transfer on 30 September 2024, and her prior service as an MNTD under Section B of the National Grid UK Pension Scheme.
